A perfect escape with tons of recreational opportunities! Crater Lake is nearby, and Mount Theilsen along with tons of nature trails with some horseback optional. The lake is beautiful by itself and you can rent boats and fish or hunt in the woods. They have a convienance store available and food for breakfast lunch and dinner as well as a bar. Internet and service is usually unavailable or really slow, but who would go there anyway for that.

Great year round place. Gorgeous views, great food and year round lodging. A favorite quiet place either summer or winter time.

Great location at a beautiful lake! Cabins have some great amenities, kitchens, full bathrooms, etc. But are old. The only complaint was the boat rental. We rented the 24' pontoon boat and discovered when we were out on the water that the left side of the boat was peeling away from the boat, along with the ladder bracket. Needless to say, we were not able to swim due to no way to exit the water. For $230/day I expect a functioning boat.

Growing up we came to the resort every year for a rotary meeting. After not being here for several years we were happy to say it was just as pleasant as it used to be. It was our first time in a lakeside cabin, and it was great.

Beautiful place run by awesome people. I got a chance to talk to Alex for a while at the cafe and he shared some stories of growing up at the resort, and passed on some advice for my bike ride out of the forest. The cafe has a delicious blackberry hard cider too!
